As part of the Bellman & Symfon Visit Smart Home Alerting system, the wireless, Portable Receiver helps a deaf or hard of hearing person stay informed regarding various activities throughout the house. The Portable Receiver uses different patterned loud sounds (adjustable up to 93dB) and flashing LED lights to alert the user to alerts from different attached transmitters, including messages from a doorbell, telephone, baby alert, or smoke or CO detector. LED lights can be turned off entirely, if desired. The Portable Receiver can be connected with the optional bed shaker to provide you notification with strong vibrations which will wake up even the heaviest sleepers. The Portable Receiver is powered by batteries so you can easily bring it with you and place wherever you like. However, it can also be plugged into the main power supply for times when you will be stationary.
