Product Description
The Dot Pad refreshable tactile display is a revolutionary device, bringing graphic images to touch for blind users, allowing users to access a wide range of visual content in a tactile format. Using Bluetooth, it connects to a laptop or iOS device, and replicates in real time graphics from those devices in beautiful tactile detail on the 300 cell Dot Pad display. Connect to VoiceOver, and receive tactile feedback for both text and graphics on your phone or tablet, creating a comprehensive and intuitive accessibility solution. Connect to the companion app Dot Canvas, and create and display tactile information such as dots, lines, shapes, images, and text. Create any drawing on the Canvas app on your tablet, and it instantly shows up on the Dot Pad display.
For visualizing information, Dot Pad incorporates a 300 eight pin Braille cell graphics area (30 horizontal x 10 vertical) and a single line 20 Braille cell text area. The large graphics area can also display 8 rows of 20 cell Braille text.
