The BlindShell Classic 3 is a fully speaking, tactile button cell phone, with a large range of features and apps that make it a wonderful productivity tool for a visually impaired person. This talking mobile phone offers the ease of use of a traditional tactile key button phone, but also offers many of the conveniences and apps of the modern smartphone. In addition to all the wonderful functionality of the BlindShell Classic 2, the BlindShell Classic 3 includes a new light sensor, display color updates, an increase in RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB, and an increase in internal memory up to 32GB (or 500GB with an SD card.) More importantly, BlindShell Classic 3 includes the Tandem app to allow for remote support, Luna - a virtual AI assistant, and access to (non-supported) third party applications.
Standard cell phone functions on the BlindShell Classic 3 include calling and one touch speed dials, SMS texts, email, contact management, notes, and calendar! Other specialized functions include a camera, calculator, timer, alarm, color identifier, QR codes, object tagging, FM radio, audio player, book reader, Bluetooth connectivity, and a specially located one touch SOS button. The BlindShell app catalog provides access to new and future supported apps including WhatsApp, FaceBook Messenger, YouTube, Be My Eyes, Amazon Shopper, WayAround, and Audible. New with BlindShell Classic 3, users now have access to a much broader range of third party apps. (Please note, the compatibility of these third party apps with BlindShell Classic 3 has not been verified.) BlindShell Classic 3 is available in 2 colors, Ocean Blue or Golden Sand.
Tandem App: Users can now allow friends and family to help them use their phone, using the new Tandem app. A friend or family member can download the app, and then remotely log in to the user's phone to help the user with any questions or set up.
Luna AI Voice Activated Assistant: Luna allows the user to completely control the phone with their voice, using either wi-fi or cellular data. Ask Luna to set an alarm or make a schedule appointment. Ask Luna for static information such as global names, phone numbers, and addresses. With Luna, a user can use their voice to launch an app on the phone, dictate text, dial a contact, or navigate the phone.
