The Patriot Voice AI starts with the robust Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and text to speech capabilities of the Patriot Voice, model 601143, and then provides further functionality using AI.
As a simple reader / scanner, the Patriot Voice will take a picture of printed material and then convert that picture into an audio output, so that you can easily listen to a printed document, and not struggle with the printed text. This text-to-speech reader will scan and read aloud any printed document such as your mail, newspapers, or magazines. Place the printed material in any orientation on the base, press the camera button, and sit back and listen to your document. Simple, big, rotary buttons allow you to easily pause, resume, back up and go forward in the reading.
When connected to the internet, with the use of AI, the Patriot Voice AI can also be used for bar code recognition, language translation, hand writing recognition, image descriptions, and bills and receipts recognition. For document descriptions, take a picture of a photograph, and the Patriot Voice AI will describe the images in the photo!
